Exhibitions Axed In COVID-19 Lockdown

It's with a heavy heart that I have found out that the British Quilt & Stitch Village is the latest exhibition to bite the dust due to 2020 pandemic. The necessary lockdown and 2m distance rule have decimated the planned art offering schedule. To date I will now not be showing at:

  • The Embroiderers' Guild group exhibition, The Little Theatre, Leicester

  • 'Between the Lines,' Loose Threads, Melton Mowbray

  • Artist in residence at Final Year Show, King Edward VI College, Nuneaton

  • 'Edges,' Jeudis Mixed Media Textiles, Nuneaton Art Gallery, Warwickshire

But this imposed retreat has brought as many benefits as hindrances. I am undecided as to whether I will look back on this as the worst or best of times.
